Some Have Been Hoaxes

In 1984, artist Hudson Pierce disappears from a tiny town in the middle of nowhere after raving about a monster in the lake. Thirty years later, Creda, distantly connected to the artist and desperate to solve the mystery, returns to the town to find out what happened to him. But even though no one believed Pierce in 1984, the town is now knee-deep in tourists who come to see if they can catch a glimpse of the monster.
