An eccentric millionaire invites eight people to visit her recently acquired Victorian mansion turned insane asylum turned vacation house. They’re told that they are there to discover if the place is truly haunted, but each one has been secretly hired to create false hauntings to fool the others. The house, however, has plans of its own.
